South West : Calls For Unity Among Fako Militants

Secondary Education Minister, Prof Pauline Nalova Lyonga has called on the militants of the CPDM party in Fako to let go of the misunderstandings of the past and embrace peace.

Minister Nalova Lyonga used the occasion of the celebrations of President Biya’s 39th Anniversary in power on Saturday, November 6 in Limbe to officially install all those who were recently elected to steer the affairs of the CPDM Party in Fako Division for the next five years.
“You are officially installed as CPDM Party Officials in your different sections. I am asking you to get down working in a spirit of oneness, unity and cohesion,” Professor Nalova admonished.
Nalova who was speaking in her capacity as the Fako Permanent Representative from the Central Committee of the Party in Yaounde reminded the newly elected officials that they were elected to serve the people and therefore the Party “was expecting just the best from” them.
It is worth noting that the last elections had engendered a lot of bitterness, especially among those who felt cheated or lost during the elections.
Minister Nalova admonished the other militants to be ready to forgive and work with the newly elected officials because, as she said, no one is void of errors or mistakes. ”You cannot be hurt forever.
