War Against Boko Haram: Military Targets Eradicating The Terrorist Group

Defence Minister has prescribed sustained efforts up to the defeat of Boko Haram in 2017.

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo says the priority of Cameroon’s defence and security forces in 2017 is to continue with sustained efforts right up to the defeat of the terrorist group Boko Haram in the Far North Region. He  added that another key action is a more effective participation to bring peace and stability in the Central African Republic within the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).

Minister Beti Assomo spelt out the priorities of the Ministry of Defence for 2017 on occasion of New Year wishes he received from the military and civilian staff of the Ministry of Defence in Yaounde on January 13, 2017.
