Tiko Fan Zone : Entertainment And Business Hub

Footballer lovers while savouring the game will have the opportunity to buy whatever purchase they want.

The municipality of Tiko is vibrating to the rhyme of Africa Nations Cup (AFCON) TotalEnergies Cameroon 2021. It has set up a Fan Zone that went operational on January 9, 2022 attracting over 800 citizens. Located opposite the Tiko Council, the Fan Zone is an economic hub. It has 49 sheds with rents ranging from FCFA 25,000 to FCFA 60,000 depending on the type of business. Visitors at the site pay FCFA 200. The business persons there market roast fish, assorted drinks, dresses, cooked food, dishes, grilled meat, ice cream etc. 
Throughout AFCON, the Tiko Council has programmed a series of activities to entertain the population before, during half time and after matches. Various communities resident in Tiko are on the schedule to display their rich cultural heritage. Comedians and musicians will equally mark their presence. Fouelefact Temgoua Engilbert who watched the Cameroon vs Burkina Faso encounter there doffed his hat to the Tiko Council for the initiative. He intends to watch all the AFCON matches at the Tiko Fan Zone till February 6, 2022.
