Cameroonain Muslims: CAF President Shows Magnanimity

He donated the sum of over FCFA 114 million during a Muslim prayer service at the Central Mosque of Briquetterie in Yaounde over the weekend.

Cameroon has once more benefited from the outstanding magnanimity of the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr Patrice Motsepe. He has donated the sum of US$200 000 (approximately over FCFA 114 million) to Muslim Faith Communities in Cameroon. He made the donation during a Muslim prayer service he attended in the Central Mosque of Briquetterie in Yaounde, Cameroon over the weekend on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation. He was accompanied by the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, CAF Vice Presidents and Members of the CAF Executive Committee.
Before this donation, Dr Patrice Motsepe had in January shown that he is very interested in the wellbeing of vulnerable persons and is determined in using football to bring smiles to their faces.
