Bamenda : Entrepreneurial Youths Shine At Youth Day

Recognitions for excellence, match past and a replay of the Head of State's message summed up 56th Youth Day event in Bamenda on February 11, 2022.

The 56th National Youth Day is now history with ex-combatants of the DDR Centre in Bamenda making the difference. They were conspicuous during youth week activities with an impressive show of football skills that helped them grap a trophy for emerging winner of the football final that featured as their opponents some administrative staff in the region. The DDR squad which also featured the Centre’s Coordinator, Henry Kum, finished best after penalty kicks at the field of the 5th Joint Military Region in the neighbourhood of Up Station.
Away from the football encounter, radio talk shows, debates, cultural displays and exhibition of craft works set pace for the 11th February event at the Grand Stand, Commercial Avenue, presided over by North West Governor, Adolphe Lele L'Afrique. It was in fair weather that those who beat fear and filed out, listened to a replay...
