FECAFOOT Plans New Football Season

The Executive Committee gave 72 hours to its president Samuel Eto’o to decide the future of Antonio Conceiçao as the head coach of the Indomitable Lions.

The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) in a conclave in Limbe on February 16, 2022, programmed the 2021/2022 Elite 1 and Elite 2 championships though no specific date was mentioned. It also programmed the first Pan-African School Football Championship in Cameroon which is a project of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) for the 2021/2022 session. The Secretary General Benjamin Banlock is to prepare at the beginning of each session a summary note explaining the resolution of the football championship season.
In a lengthy session that started at midday and ended at 7:00 p.m, FECAFOOT President, Samuel Eto’o, was given 72 hours by the Executive Committee to decide the future of Antonio Conceiçao as head coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The officials did not make further comments on this.
The executive committee also confirmed during the session the recruitment of some senior staff of the institution. Benjamin Didier Banlock came in as the Secretary General.
