Commonwealth Day : Preparations Accelerate In Cameroon

Commonwealth liaison officers from Ministries and other State institutions have been meeting at the Ministry of External Relations.

Preparations are being stepped up at the Ministry of External Relations to ensure that the 2022 Commonwealth Day celebrations slated for March 14, are hitch-free and successful in Cameroon.
The celebration will take place on the theme, “Delivering a common future: Connecting, Innovating and Transforming.” To ensure a successful organisation of the celebration, Commonwealth liaison officers from different Ministries and government institutions have been meeting under the coordination of the Commonwealth Department at the Ministry of External Relations.  The second preparatory meeting took place on February 22, 2022 at the Ministry of External Relations chaired by the Director of the Commonwealth Department, Anne Oben on behalf of the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. Focus was on the presentation of the various activities that will culminate with celebration. The liaison officers indicated the activities in which their Ministries and institutions would participate, made proposals for innovation and asked questions for clarifications.
