Star Building : PM Receives NW CPDM Section Presidents

Presidents of the 34 Sections of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) in the North West Region have come together under the umbrella of the Union of CPDM North West Section Presidents.  Their President Peter Abety, President of the CPDM Mezam V Section, Tubah led a delegation of the union officials to the Star Building on February 21, 2022 where they had discussions with the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute.
After their discussions, Peter Abety told the press that they came principally to thank the Prime Minister and assure him that they will follow his example, go down to the field in their various sections and dialogue with everyone including the secessionist fighters in order to seek the return for peace and security in the crisis-affected North West Region. “We came to thank the Prime Minister for all the interest he has shown and continues to show in the politics of the North West. This has been exemplified by his two courageous and spectacular visits to Bamenda at moments where nobody expected,” Peter Abety said. They want to copy the example of courage from the Prime Minister to go down to their various CPDM Sections using dialogue to seek the return to peace and security.
