Promoting Bilingualism, Living Together : Women’s Contribution Celebrated

A common meal was shared at the Bilingualism Commission with the Vice Chairperson encouraging women of the institution to continue in the fight against hate speech.

Female staff of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism have been congratulated for their efforts in fighting against hate speech. The Vice Chairperson of the Commission, Oumarou Djika, on behalf of the Chairperson, Peter Mafany Musonge chaired a common meal that was shared to celebrate the strides of women. In attendance were members of the Commission and the Secretary General.
In his speech, the Vice Chairperson saluted the formidable contribution of the female staff in promoting bilingualism and multiculturalism. “Together, we are leading the fight against hate speech. Courage for the work you are doing and thank you for always being by us,” he stated.
