NUDP : More Victories Targeted After Congress

The seventh ordinary congress of the National Union for Democracy and Progress (NUDP) took place in Yaounde on March 5 and 6, 2022.

The National Union for Democracy and Progress has emerged from its 7th ordinary congress of March 5 and 6, 2022 in Yaounde better mobilised and prepared for greater electoral victories in Cameroon.
The party is more invigorated with trust bestowed on some officials whom in  the previous term of office handled their positions well  and others replaced to inject new blood in the party. The NUDP National President, Maigari Bello Bouba was re-elected by acclamation.  Members of the party’s Central Committee and Political Bureau were also elected. The different wings of the NUDP equally elected their leaders. Paul Mbafor was re-elected the President of the Youth Movement of the NUDP, while Eliane Zene Ondo’o was maintained as the President of the Women’s Movement of the party.
Through the congress, NUDP officials and militants set out to prepare the party for more victories in upcoming national elections and effective impactful participation in national life. In this direction, the National President of the NUDP, Maigari Bello Bouba called on officials and militants to strengthen the position of the party at the national level.
