CBC Lower Bolifamba: School Mourns Another Pupil

The deceased has been laid to rest but the Police is probing into the matter which has kept many community members worried.

The Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Primary School Lower Bolifamba (Mile 16) in Buea Subdivision has been hit again by yet another death, causing a lot of pains to parents of learners and well-wishers. On Wednesday March 16, 2022, one pupil died again under unclear circumstances. Her name is Kerem Loko, a Class Two pupil. Nshang Godfrey, Head Teacher of the school explained on March 22, 2022, that during the morning hours of that star-crossed day, little Kerem came to him complaining of not feeling well. She was sent home. The Head Teacher said he later on went to the Buea Inspectorate of Basic Education and was hurriedly called from there to go to the Buea Regional Hospital. “I got there and met a corpse. I was shocked,” he narrated. The cause of her death has not been made known yet. The corpse was ferried to Edeia near Malende in Muyuka Subdivision for interment that same day.
The death of Kerem Loko is another painful episode for CBC Primary School Lower Bolifamba. The school family is still to regain itself from the shock of losing three Class Six pupils who died on March 3, 2022, after eating plantain and sauce, and jellof rice during break in school.
