“We Are Planning For A Reorganisation Of Our Basic Organs”

How is the Cameroon Democratic Party faring on the field?
The Cameroon Democratic Party is doing well as of now. We all know that political activities are somehow slow at the moment since there is no election in view this year, but we are doing well. Our meetings hold regularly and we keep stratregising on our political manifesto and making the impact of CDP felt nationwide. There is no political pressure at the moment. So to speak, this is a low season for us. However, we are on a strategic planning in order to organise future elections on how to better represent our party. This strategic planning is ongoing and we are trying to see how to get things together for future elections. We are also working on giving constant updates on our social media platforms. You know the world is now a global village and we have to move with digitalisation, reason we are wanting to make our presence felt on social and traditional media. We are also carrying out sensitisation tours to encourage those of voting age to have themselves registered on the electoral lists of Elections Cameroon. Generally speaking, this is a time of strategising for the Cameroon Democratic Party. 
Many political parties are holding congresses and conventions to inject new blood in preparation for political competitions. What is your party doing in this direction?
We are planning for a reorganisation of our basic organs and later a congress. A date will be communicated to everybody. At the moment, we are working underground and ensuring the respect of the party’s text. The reorganisation of basic organs of a party is a very important activity.
