Cameroon-Angola : MINREX Receives New Ambassador

Antonio Manuel Luvualu de Carvalho presented the advance copies of his lettres of credence to the Minister of External Relations on March 29, 2022.


The newly designated Ambassador of Angola to Cameroon with residence in Malabo, Antonio Manuel Luvuala de Carvalho has presented the advanced copies of his accreditation documents to the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella. This was during an audience the Minister granted the Ambassador on March 29, 2022 at the Ministry of External Relations. 
Born in September 1983, the Angolan diplomat has a doctorate in International Relations, specialising in Diplomacy from the University of Lusiada de Lisboa of Angola. His master’s and bachelor’s degrees in international relations were obtained from same university in 2010 and 2007 respectively. 
Antonio Manuel Luvuala de Carvalho has occupied several positions before his appointment as Ambassador of Angola to Cameroon. He got admitted to the diplomatic career of the Republic of Angola in January 2017 with the category of Career Ambassador. Between then till 2019, he served as Itinerant Ambassador and Consultant at the Secretariat for Diplomatic Affairs and International Cooperation of the President of the Republic of Angola. From 2011 to 2014, he served as Deputy Director of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Lusiada University of Angola.
