Cameroon-Saudi Arabia : Outgoing Ambassador Decorated Grand Officer

A State diner was offered in his honour on behalf of the Head of State by Minister Mbella Mbella on March 30, 2022.

The outgoing Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cameroon, Abdalelah Mohammed A. Alsheaiby has been decorated with the medal of Grand Officer of the National Order of Valour by the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella. This was during a State diner offered in honour of the Ambassador on behalf of the President of the Republic by the Minister on March 30, 2022, as the diplomat has come to the end of his diplomatic mission in Cameroon.  
A toast by Minister Mbella Mbella highlighted achievements of the outgoing Ambassador during his two and a half years stay in Cameroon. “You lifted up cooperation between our two countries a notch higher, to place it at an appreciable level.  At the socio-economic development level, the financing by the Saudi Fund for Development, several projects in the sectors of infrastructure, education and health,” Minister Mbella Mbella stated. He also mentioned the annual donation of dates to the Cameroonian government by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the most recent donation being received on April 20, 2021, and the offering of protective materials for the fight against Covid-19 on April 27, 2021.
