Bamenda : MINFOPRA Explains Integration Procedure

Visiting Minister Joseph LE delivered the message of hope in the University of Bamenda on April1,2022.

It was the best message for student teachers of the Higher Teachers’ Training College and the Higher Technical Teachers’ Training College of the University of Bamenda when Public Service Minister, Joseph Anderson LE told them that on graduation they will henceforth receive full salaries and that their files will be processed on-the-spot at the Bamenda-based Regional Delegation for Public Service and Administrative Reforms. The Minister said he was in the Bambili campus of the University of Bamenda with the message of hope from the Head of State. Minister Joseph Anderson LE said he was around with information about facilities to help matters in the management of their careers. He said it is time over for accumulated arrears upon graduation.
The visiting Minister said he was also around to collect suggestions to better the conditions of student teachers upon completion. He used the opportunity to entertain some concerns from Lecturers and students as they sought to know what the future holds for them. He reiterated his mission which was to deliver the good news that henceforth, upon graduation, teachers will not have to wait 28 to 30 months before they begin receiving salaries. He said delays were unfair especially as most of them are always posted to strange areas with nothing to help in their upkeep.
