Fighting Against Covid 19: CFA 41million For Difficult Cases

The money received by “Fondation Coeur et Vie” last Wednesday in Douala will be used to handle serious cases in some hospitals in four regions.

Covid 19 is still around the corner and people are still dying of the virus. Reason why efforts to fight against the disease are still very relevant and necessary. As a result, Prudence Foundation has donated CFA 41million to “Fondation Coeur et Vie” as relief fund in the fight against covid 19.  While handing over the 41m cheque in Douala on Wednesday March 30, 2022,  the Chief Executive officer of Prudential Beneficial Insurance Cameroon, Mr Handsome Brain Nkwenti, explained that their action is part of their solidarity programme through Prudential Africa's subsidiary.
The Covid-19 Relief Fund donation, Mr Nkwenti went on, will provide hospital support and material to frontline health workers and community health centers to facilitate an effective care management of patients with Covid-19. It will also amplify a sensitization campaign to help curb the spread and raise awareness on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination. “This initiative demonstrates once again that Prudential remains a company that helps people get the most out of life. While the pandemic is taking place globally, the fight is local and will be won at the community level. We are committed to helping these local communities effectively fight against the virus” the donator stated.
