Cameroon-United States : Expanding Security, Trade Cooperation

Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute received in audience the Ambassador of the United States to Cameroon, Christopher John Lamora on May 6, 2022.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute on May 6, 2022 granted an audience to the Ambassador of the United States to Cameroon, Christopher John Lamora. In the course of the about one-hour audience, both personalities exchanged on the economic situation of the country with particular attention on trade and investment, and the situation of the North West and South West Regions. 
Christopher John Lamora told the press that he talked with the Prime Minister on a wide range of areas of common interest. “The Prime Minister and I had a very excellent meeting. We were able to talk about a lot of aspects on our bilateral relationship including trade and investment and the situation in the North West and South West Regions where we think, we want to work positively with the government. We also talked on numerous other things on the bilateral agenda,” he stated.
