Guinness Super League : Awa, Still Unshakable!

As the away leg of the championship ends this weekend with the 11th playing Day, the Yaounde club is still leading with 27 points, four above their direct followers, Amazone FAP.

The away leg of the 2021-2022 season of the Guinness Super League ends this weekend with Day 11 matches slated for Saturday June 11, 2022 across the country. But no matter what happens on this Day, the title holders, AS Awa will emerge winners of this leg. The club currently has 27 points, four above their direct followers Amazone FAP with 23 points. 
It should be recalled that, Amazone FAP climbed up to 23 points after beating Awa on Day 10 (1-0). Despite this first defeat, Awa still kept their position as leaders and this will definitely continue this weekend. Awa FC plays Canon Filles at the Yaounde Omnisports Annex 1 stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. Meanwhile, Amazone FAP will clash with Renaissance Athletique at 2 p.m. same day at the Guider Municipal stadium. Even if Canon beats Awa and Amazone FAP wins Renaissance, Awa will still top the away leg of the championship. In figures, Awa will remain with 27 points meanwhile Amazone will climb to 26 points.
