U-21 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship : Cameroon Meets Gambia In Quarterfinals Today

The young Lions booked a spot in this stage of the competition after winning their third group game against Rwanda 3 sets to 0 on August 17, 2022 in Tunisia.

The U-21 Volleyball Lions of Cameroon have made it to the quarterfinals of the 2022 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship of their category ongoing in Tunisia. They are expected to play the Gambia in this stage of the competition today, August 19, 2022. Even though the Gambia picked its qualification for the quarterfinals after finishing third in Group A, Cameroon is steadfast and preparing hard to take home the victory.
Cameroon booked its place in the round of eight after winning their third group game against Rwanda 3 sets to 0 on Wednesday August 17, 2022. The young lions began the game on a high note winning the first set 25-16. In the second set, their opponents put up a tough fight but the Lions were again strong enough to take home the set 25-18. In the last set, Rwanda again tried to prolong the game but failed as the Cameroonians had the right blocks, spikes and attack to fetch more points. The third set ended 25-20 in favour of Cameroon.
