Better Health Care: India Partners With Cameroon

This will enable patients in Cameroon to benefit from quality treatment, especially in specialised medical procedures.

For the past five years, medical doctors from the KIMS Hospital in Hyderadbad India have been partnering with the Douala Emergency Centre for Reanimation to provide better medical care to Cameroonians. This partnership has yielded fruits over the years and in the days ahead some medical Doctors from India will be vising Cameroon to consult and provide treatment to patients. Against this backdrop, a team of Doctors from KIMS Hospital in India are currently in Cameroon to prepare the groundwork reasons why they had a meeting in Doula on August 25 where they discussed issues on how to better treat patients in Cameroon using the latest technology and advancement. The Doctors from the KIMS hospital Hyderadbad also donated some medical equipment to the Douala Emergency Centre for Reanimation to facilitate their task.
According to Dr. Rakesh Jalla from KIMS Hospital, they received many Cameroonians in their hospital for treatment of different diseases including cancer, stone removal, and hernia which at times is very costly and strenuous for most patients as such they decided to come to Cameroon to offer same services at a cheaper rate. While in Cameroon he went on, patients will be more comfortable and the healing will be fast owing that they are in their own country.
