African Interclub Competition : Encouraging Results For Cameroonians

Coton Sport recorded a victory, while PWD a registered a draw in the first leg preliminaries that took place last weekend.

The away leg preliminaries of the CAF Inter Club Competition produced encouraging results. In the champions League, Coton Sport of Garoua dominated Matlama FC of Lesotho 3-0 at the Free Stadium Bloemfontein in South Africa on Saturday September 9, 2022. Coton Sport of Garoua dominated the game from the start showing a great mastery of the game.
Coton’s goals were scored by Eno Brandon, Marou Saibou (63rd minute) and Reich Koloko (70th minute). Matlama FC put up a strong fight but could not stand the wrath of Coton Sport that has a more technical team. With that result Coton Sport of Garoua has taken a better option for the return leg. Before leaving the country for South Africa the Garoua Boys were hoping for a victory to enable them secure their chances of qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League. Coton Sport will play the return leg on September 18, 2022.
