National Youth Council : President Communes With Youths

Visiting Fadimatou Iyawa explained innovations that advance the course of the nation's youths.


The President of the National Youth Council ; Fadimatou Iyawa has sounded off about major innovations in the texts of the Council which inspires hope for the nation's youths in visibility and opportunities. The visiting President told youth council members in Bamenda on December 29,2022 that the 2021 annual general assembly of the Council endorsed innovations which lifts the status of youths from benevolence in serving people and communities to volunteerism which protects the rights of youths and gives them visibility and opportunities. Fadimatou Iyawa stressed the merits of the innovations which exposes youths and empowers them for better performance in the discharge of their activities.
The texts equally strengthen partnership with the diaspora, enforces solidarity and enhances discipline and productivity with commissions for peace building, diaspora commission and others that facilitate operations. Accompanied on the outing by the 1st Vice National President and son of the North West region; Princely Kindong; the visiting National President stated special consideration for the North West whose youths excel in resilience in challenging times. She stressed the merits of peace and living together and said the nation's youths are solidly by all initiatives that give peace a chance.
