Chamber of Commerce : CFA 4.6 Billion for in 2023

The Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Crafts, CCIMA, will run on a budget of CFA 4.6 billion in 2023. The institution will also prioritize on achieving the country's import-substitution policy by rendering locally produced goods more attractive and competitive for the continental market as well as defending the interests of the companies they represent and therefore improving the business climate, promoting public-private dialogue and partnership. These were the major outcome of the third plenary assembly of the 2020-2024 mandate held in Douala Thursday, December 15.
 It also emerged from the plenary mandate that for 2022, CCIMA in terms of accomplishing its missions of professional interest, organized 25 training sessions including 21 in the regional delegations, which benefited eight hundred (800) economic operators. Through the CIP programme, 137 young people, benefited from training respectively within the framework of the “PEA-Jeunes and ARCHIPELAGO” programs. The continuation of the implementation of dual training activities on entrepreneurship within the framework of the ARCHIPELAGO program which reached more than 330 people. The finalization of the project to improve the quality of the products of the “Groupement Représentatif Indication Géographique Poivre de Penja” in order to improve their access to international markets and a lot more.
