National Youth Day : Preparation Heightens For 57th Edition

The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, has recalled the importance of the National Youth Day and the need for various commissions involved in its preparation to carry out their duties diligently for a successful commemoration. He was speaking yesterday, January 11, 2023 in Yaounde as he chaired the second preparatory meeting for the 57th edition of the event. 
In his address to members of the preparatory commissions, the Minister said the 57th edition of the Youth Day is an opportunity to showcase the commitment of public authorities not only for the promotion of the participation of young people in economic growth in Cameroon, but also to set up a framework for exchange that would promote the culture of lasting peace, the rejection of hate speech, the denunciation of violent, obscene and dishonorable video publications and the civic responsibility of everybody even on social media.
