Senate : Personnel Status Examined

This was during a bureau meeting presided at by its President Marcel Niiat Njifenji on January 12, 2023.

Members of the Senate bureau on January 12, 2023 in a meeting chaired by the President of the House, Marcel Niat Njifenji, discussed issues relating to the status and management of personnel.
Speaking after the meeting, the Vice President of the Senate, Chief Tambetando, said they examined aspects about the personnel not being well defined and some being placed in the wrong functions. “So, the President had over the months created commissions to look into the status of the personnel, all in its entirety in order to attribute to individuals well-defined positions. And how they have classified and made some of the personnel to sign appropriate documents to ensure that they are now workers in the Senate. Secondly, it has been presented to the bureau to examine and see whether they are irregularities and the bureau has been very thorough in its examination and have given its approval, pending on the subsequent appointment or positioning of those personnel,” he explained. The lawmaker added that they examined other issues concerning the management of personnel and the individual benefits of Senators which have not been sanctioned by the bureau before. “These issues have been looked into thoroughly and the opinion of the bureau volunteered,” the Vice President said.
