National Institute of Youth and Sports : FCFA 981 Million As 2023 Budget

This was voted during the 9th ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the institution on January 12, 2023.

Members of the governing Board of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (NIYS) in its 9th ordinary session on Thursday January 12, 2023 have voted the budget of the Institution for the year. Balanced in revenue and expenditure, the budget stands at the sum of nine hundred and eighty-one million (FCFA 981, 000, 000). The session was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Adoum Garoua. The session, which lasted for over five hours, permitted the members to also examine and adopt the plan of action and annual programme of the institution for the 2023 fiscal year. 
The 9th session was also an opportunity for Board Members to adopt the report of the 8th ordinary session held on July 6, 2022: adopt the implementation report of the 2022 action plan, the resolution setting the fees for the Master STAPS-JL course as well as the 2023 action plan of the school. The Director of the National Institute of Youth and Sports, Edmond Ebal Minye told the press that the 2023 budget will be used particularly for the opening of the research Master's degree and the launching, in collaboration with the University of Yaounde II Soa, of the Doctorate/PhD cycle in STAPS-JI.
