“We Give Practical Touch To Our Professional Training”

How did the creation of a university institution outside Yaounde or Douala come about?
The idea of creating a university outside my region of North West or South West which are well known to be the English-speaking part of Cameroon comes from a historical exposure and interaction with central, western, littoral and the northern parts of Cameroon. When I finished high school in my village, at that time there was no State university in then North West province and I moved to the University of Yaounde, where I studied Computer Sciences. Then the opportunity was announced for the new Government Medical School (Biomedical and Health Science) in Ngaoundere. After much experience abroad, I thought it was time to share my expertise to my beloved country, Cameroon. Looking at the national territory, we chose the Grand Nord (Ngaoundere). Coupled with my love for the region, the culture and the fact that as a Cameroonian, I have no limits to invest within the national territory. 
What new things do you want to bring to university education in this part of the country?
As American style University coming to Cameroon, we had to follow the rules governing Cameroonian private higher education institutions. Kesmonds International University has come to contribute to the already existing good work done by the State-owned universities and private universities in Cameroon. In addition, Kesmonds International University is bringing to our people professional curriculum for programmes which will bridge the gap between theory and practice.
