National Olympic, Sports Committee : New Bureau Presents Action Plan

Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Nute, received the newly-elected executive members on February 14, 2023.


The newly-elected Board of Directors of the National Olympic and Sports Committee have made their prospects towards enhancing sports talents in the country known to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. Elected on January 26, 2023, the delegation led by its President, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum also presented challenges in harnessing sports talents, which they say is a major stumbling block to making Cameroon proud during international competitions. 
Highlighting on the reason of their visit to the Star Building, the President of the Committee said it is a tradition for them to come and introduce their members to the Prime Minister and explain the main decision taken during the General Assembly in promoting sports. “We came to present our strategic plan and ambitions of sports federations in promoting young talents identified during school games, university games and other national competitions. This is the way for Cameroon to get the best performance in the world by early harnessing young talents and developing them,” he stated.
