Garoua General Hospital : Pioneer Management Appointed

Maiden frontline administrators of the recently created Garoua General Hospital have been appointed by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya. This was through two separate Presidential decrees of February 22, 2023 appointing the Board Chair, Director General and Deputy Director General of the health facility. Mahounde Tobi is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the hospital, while Hamadou Ba and Bello Figuim are respectively Director General and Deputy Director General of the institution. 
The appointment of the pioneer management follows a Presidential decree signed on September 1, 2022 announcing the creation, organisation and functioning of the Garoua General Hospital in the North Region of Cameroon. The health facility will have to deliver high quality medical care to patients and also serve as a research ground especially in the training of specialists in various medical and paramedical fields.
