North West : Voters Continue Collecting Cards

All election materials have already been dispatched to all the seven Divisions of the Region.

Close to 500 voters’ cards have already been collected by both Municipal and Regional Councillors ready to perform their civic responsibility come March 12, 2023 during the Senatorial election. 
The North West Regional Delegate of Elections Cameroon, ELECAM, Prince Zofoa Njoya revealed to Cameroon Tribune that all necessary arrangements have been done to ensure a hitch-free and transparent election in the region. So far, all the voters’ cards have already been sent to the various Divisions for withdrawal.  The North West Region, he disclosed, has a total of 1,127 electors for the election. In all, election materials have already been deployed to the other six Divisions and at press time, a few equipment of Mezam were still at the Regional Delegation ready for deployment. Prince Zofoa Njoya revealed that they have been working hard to ensure a hitch-free election. Seminars have been organised where   polling Chairpersons and other ELECAM staff have been trained on their roles to enhance an effective exercise. Also, representatives of political parties and administrative officials involved in the electoral process have also been schooled on their role. 
The Regional Delegate said they are over 80 per cent ready for the upcoming election as both human, financial, security and material resources have been put in place. He encouraged all involved in the exercise to do their part to ensure a total success in the election of these lawmakers.
