National Gendarmerie: Officers Trained On Peace Maintenance

 The officers received their end-of-course testimonials in a ceremony chaired by the Secretary of State, Jean Baptiste Bokam on February 10, 2017 in Yaounde.

Some 42 officers of the National Gendarmerie who recently graduated from the Yaounde Combined Military Academy (EMIA) have concluded a 10-month aptitude course in the Gendamerie Training school in Camp Yeyap, Yaounde. The officers underwent the course to grasp the modus operandis inherent in the National Gendarmerie in terms of maintenance of peace and order.  According to the Commander of the Gendermerie Training School in Yaounde, Colonel Paul Mbonang, the course was to upgrade the skills of the 42 officers in General knowledge, technical and judicial knowledge, territorial and mobile units command, their relations with administrative, judicial, military authorities as well as the population amongst others.
