Namibia : No Easy Pushover

Despite Cameroon being favourites, the Brave Warriors are bracing up accordingly to create upsets.

Namibia lie bottom in Group C with one point after playing a 1-1 draw with Burundi. They come head on with leaders Cameroon this Friday March 24, 2023 in Yaounde and meet again on Tuesday March 28, 2023 in South Africa. With the statistics on ground, Cameroon are favourites but will definitely be facing stiff competition from their Namibian opponents who are very optimistic about the double confrontation. 
They may not be blessed with several big stars plying their trade for big clubs abroad like Cameroon, but they hope to smoothly jell up their homebased footballers with those plying their trade on the continent to get the ball rolling. They might just be relying on their star attacker, Peter Shalulile to try to destabilize the Cameroonian defence. The 29-year-old striker plays for South African club Mamelodi Sundowns FC.  The striker is an embodiment of speed, efficiency and consistency. Peter Shalulile who is sprouting in the South African premiership is one of Namibia’s finest assets. He scored the lone goal for Namibia in their 1-1 draw against Burundi in the ongoing qualifiers.
