Management of Refugees : Luxemburg Lauds Cameroon’s Efforts

The Head of a Luxembourger Parliamentary Delegation, Hon. Gusty Graas has appreciated Cameroon’s efforts and style in the management of refugees from neigbouring countries. The lawmaker is in Cameroon on an official mission to strengthen parliamentary and diplomatic ties between the two countries was received in audience by External Relations Minister, Mbella Mbella, on April 3, 2023, after which he made the remark. Enhancing bilateral relations in various sectors also came under review during the close to one-hour audience. 
In his declaration to the press, Hon. Gusty Graas who noted that he had a very interesting meeting with the Minister stated that Cameroon is a model for the international community in the management of refugees. He congratulated Cameroon for receiving and hosting millions of refugees from different countries and making them stay in harmony despite their diversified backgrounds. “I congratulate Cameroon on the receipt and management of refugees. There are millions of refugees in Cameroon. Your country is a model for the international community,” he stated. The Member of Luxembourger Parliament added that, together with the Minister, they talked bilateral relations on the economic domain, commercial exchanges and agriculture. “I hope that our relation will be better in the future,” he stated.
