Friendly Matches : U-23 Lionesses Shine In Morocco

The girls recorded their second win 1-0, against the Moroccan U-23 team on April 9, 2023 in Rabat.

The balance sheet is positive for the U-23 Lionesses who defended the colours of Cameroon in the recent double-header friendly against their Moroccan peers. The Cameroonian team won all two matches, scoring three goals. 
The booster came right from the first game when the U-23 Lionesses won 2-1 putting their Moroccan counterparts on a tight corner before the return leg game. Goals from Amazone FAP’s Confidence Bongben and Lekie’s Ngah Manga made it 2-1 for the young Lionesses. 
The first victory was the reward of hard work and the U-23 Lionesses did not sleep on their laurels while waiting for the second encounter. They went back to the drawing boards with the objective of correcting the errors committed in the first game. The objective was to make it two on two. On April 9, 2023, the team headed by Coach Ndoumou Mike attained their objective. This time, they overpowered their Moroccan opponents 1-0 thanks to a second half strike from Guinness Super League Star, Brenda Tabe Ebika. She was served by Raissa Nnanga who has been very fruitful for the team so far.
