Cameroon-CWEIC : Consolidating Investment Opportunities

Boosting trade and investment opportunities in Cameroon through the strategic partnership between Cameroon and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) have come under review at the Star Building. This was during an audience the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute granted to the Chairman of CWEIC, Lord Jonathan Peter Marland on April 11, 2023. 
The visiting official in his declaration to reporters after the audience said, he discussed the Commonwealth, climate change and youth employment with the Prime Minister. “That is what we are here to help. And it is a great privilege to be back here, enjoying the warm and friendship of the Cameroonian people and the Prime Minister himself who has been a great advocate of trade and investment. We are planting our flag to show our commitment to the country and the sub region,” Lord Jonathan Marland stated. He added that they are equally interested in investing in infrastructure development that can help prevent floods and its negative consequences in some parts of the country.
