Boyo : Fundong Council Enhances Local Economy

Opportunities in tourism, industrialization, solidarity economy unveiled at Fundong Council economic days.

The Fundong Council is setting the pace in the promotion of their local economy in challenging times. The council’s economic days organised recently produced overwhelming results with some 487 participants, up from the expected 200. The rush by participants was inspired by the agenda which featured take home lessons on potentials and opportunities in wealth creation, and local solutions for local problems. Setting the tone at the launching event at the premises of the Council Chambers in Fundong, the Mayor, Denis Awoh Ndang sounded off about opportunities that inspire hope in the municipality. Subject master specialists took time off to edify participating youths, farmers, craftsmen and development stakeholders with presentations and discussions on opportunities in tourism, livestock, agriculture, industrialization and trade in the municipality.
