National Day : Brainstorming On Civilian Activities Intensify

The second preparatory meeting held at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education yesterday, April 23, 2023

Members involved in the preparation of the 51st edi tion of the National Day have been called upon to establish a harmonised programme for the launch of civilian activities nationwide. The call was made by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, yesterday April 25, 2023, as he chaired the second preparatory meeting for the celebration of Civilian events of the 51st National Day. The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education said the purpose of the meeting of the National Organising Committee was to assess the progress of the work of various commissions, validate planned activities and address any shortcomings that may have been identified, so that all the activities selected can be carried out successfully and harmoniously. During the meeting, it was revealed that the Harmonised National Programme provides for two main events; the traditional activities of an institutional nature, such as the official launch of civilian events; the torchlight procession and the civilian march-past parade and the second group of activities include mobilisation, civic and mass education and animation at the "unity and national integration village" as well as the intensification of the National Civic Education Programme for Moral, ...
