Constance Ejuma Visits SOPECAM

The stunt character in the popular Marvel’s Black Panther movie paid a courtesy visit at the newsroom of Cameroon Tribune yesterday May 8, 2023.

Constance Ejuma, the face of Cameroon, in the Marvel’s popular movie, “Black Panther” paid a courtesy visit at the headquarters of the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM) yesterday May 8, 2023. On hand to receive her was the Deputy General Manager, Shey Peter Mabu, who welcomed her to Cameroon Tribune and SOPECAM in general. It was an opportunity for Constance Ejuma to share her experience in Hollywood with the staff of SOPECAM.
Dr Shey Peter Mabu lauded Constance Ejuma for making Cameroon proud in Hollywood. He also encouraged her courageous spirit. “It is a pride to have you amongst us and we pray you enjoy your stay as we look forward to having you contribute in the film industry in Cameroon,” Peter Mabu told Constance Ejuma. The Hollywood actress was surprised and flattered by the degree of attention she is receiving in her current visit especially after her featuring at Black Panther. “I feel loved, but flattered for such a warm reception I never imagined”, Constance Ejuma told the Deputy General Manager of SOPECAM.
Talking about herself, she said Constance is mainly an actress. But she has also produced some films such as Ben & Ara. This is a feature film in which she starred and subsequently received an AMAA award (fondly referred to as the African Oscar) for her efforts as a producer. According to Ejuma, being a producer was out of necessity and not because she likes producing. I love telling stories in front of a camera.
