Regional Hospitals : Workers Get Transport Vehicles

The buses are meant to facilitate movement from homes to the workplace.

The Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie, says the government will continue in its efforts to motivate and encourage health personnel in their daily duties. He was speaking last May 3, 2023 during a solemn ceremony to hand over buses for the transportation of health personnel in the Regional Hospitals of Bertoua, Garoua, Maroua and Ngaoundere.
The vehicles include four Toyota Coaster buses with a minimum capacity with 26 seats each, manual gearbox, air conditioned, fabric seats and a 10HP-diesel engine. The acquisition of these transport buses by the Ministry of Public Health is intended for the personnel of the Regional Hospital Centres, to facilitate their displacements in particular, and for the effective and efficient care of patients in general.
