Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority Training School : Futuristic Structure

Inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the building sits on a surface area of 1,630 metres square and has state-of-the-art equipment.


The edifice of the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority Training School has been inaugurated. It was commissioned by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute on May 10, 2023 on behalf of the President of the Republic. After its inauguration, the Prime Minister made a guided tour of the building. 
The structure occupies a surface area of 1,630 metres square and was constructed to the tune of FCFA three billion, four hundred and eighty-four million, four hundred and ninety-five thousand, over a period of 49 months and a few weeks. It has ultra-modern equipment to facilitate knowledge transmission in civil aviation. The entire surface area of the campus is one hectare. The building has an underground floor, ground floor and four floors. 
The underground floor contains the local and technical server, a cave and magazines. The ground floor contains three classrooms, each occupying a surface area of 53 metres square with a capacity of taking 22 trainees, a modern library of 133 metres square, a restaurant with a capacity of 300 persons, offices, a kitchen, a bloc of restrooms. On the second floor are equally three classrooms, a computer room, a screening room, offices, as well as work and rest rooms for instructors. A simulation room with some sort of technical land occupies the second floor. The said simulation room has a caricature cabinet of a plane and the room creates real life conditions of an aircraft flying in the skies.
