Cosmetic Companies Count Blessings
The harvest was good with stand officials saying PROMOTE remains a veritable avenue for joint business ventures.
Curtains dropped on the sixth International Exhibition for Enterprises, SMEs and Partnerships, PROMOTE, dropped yesterday February 19, 2017 with participating cosmetic companies counting blessings. The harvest was big, with stand officials saying that PROMOTE remains a veritable platform for business expansion. Leading cosmetic companies that took up strategic positions at the fair village at the Yaounde Conference Centre came with specific concepts that apparently succeeded.
LANA Cosmetics, EuroCosmetics and Biopharma retired from the fair with heads up. The number of visitors to their stands was remarkable, with stand officials stating that the number of business persons ready for partnerships is encouraging. Biopharma with its outstanding and imposing stand, registered at least 4,000 visitors each day. The company came with the concept of ‘The Soul of Black Beauty Is Back’ that hinged on the conception and construction of the stand, the dressing of the hostesses and the exhibition of products. The Marketing Officer, Carine Koundou, rejoiced at the interest from visitors which she described as all amazing. Participating at PROMOTE was not all about increasing business turnover, stand officials of LANA Cosmetics, EuroCosmetics and Biopharma told Cameroon Tribune. Focus was also on increasing company and product visibility. Visitors and business persons from Gabon, Congo and other countries of the Central Africa Sub-region as well as Europe like Turkey and Italy came prospecting in the cosmetic stands, seeking to establish partnerships for the provision of raw material, production and distribution.
Each edition of PROMOTE is different in terms of concept, with cosmetic stand officials present at this sixth edition unanimous that the ideas they brought to the fair received good feedback. The challenge of doing better was also overcome, they pointed out.
