Bafoussam : Preparation Intensify For May 20 Celebration

Preparations have intensified in the West region especially the regional capital Bafoussam for the 51st edition of the National Day billed for May 20, 2023. So for, the military, gendarmes, police, penitentiary have continued their various march past rehearsals, for a more equitable celebration come May 20, 2023. 
This year’s May 20 celebration is being preceded by a weeklong preparatory activities featuring cultural and sporting events in all Divisional and Subdivisional headquarters in the region, which shall be culminated in a touch light procession on 19 May, 2023.         Meanwhile at the level of political parties, the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), Social Democratic Front (SDF) and the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP) have already manifested their willingness to participate in the May 20 celebration.
