Bamenda : Slain Journalist Anye Nde Nsoh Laid To Rest

Buried on Saturday May 13, 2023 in his village Mankon in Mezam Division.

In a microphone-like casket, late Anye Ndeh Nsoh journeys home. Designed to best describe what he lived and died with in his hand, the family and the press decided to honour Anye with his microphone. 
Anye Ndeh Nsoh was shot in Bamenda last Sunday May 7, 2023 at a popular snack bar Don Simon, Che street Ntarikon. His journey to the world beyond began on Saturday May 13, 2023 as he was finally buried in his Mankon Village. Amongst the mourners, were some top officials of the region led by the SDO of Mezam, Simon Emile Mooh who extended a condolence message to the press and the bereaved family. He promised that investigations are ongoing and perpetrators of such a crime will be brought to book. 
During the funeral mass at PCC Ntingkag, the man of God said human life is secret and no man has the right to take away another person's life. He called on those behind such barbaric acts to repent. 
Speaking during the funeral, one of his direct boss, Nditsembom Elvis of the Observer 237, an online platform where Anye Ndeh contributed always, said he will miss an honest, humble, hard working colleague with a lot of potentials. He added that it will be difficult for him to find a replacement of Anye in his life. Meanwhile, the President of the North West branch of the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists, Mumu Jude said the young Anye has left a very big vacuum in the group.
