National Gendarmerie : Convivial Common Meal

Following the 51st edition of the National Day, elements of the National Gendarmerie shared a moment of conviviality and togetherness during the traditional corps meal event on May 21, 2023 at the headquarters of the National Gendarmerie in Yaounde. A moment which the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Galax Etoga used to commune with his collaborators and officers of all ranks.
After the ecumenical prayer, the buffet was opened. Those who answered present had the opportunity to travel to the different cultural zones of the country via the traditional meals that were available. The music band of the National Gendarmerie was at the heart of the ceremony accompanying the stakeholders as they savoured the meal that was in abundance. The rains that started several minutes into the ceremony did not stop the music band from dishing out good music. As stakeholders ate and drank, they nodded their heads to the rhythm of the drums.
