The Homologation and Disciplinary Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation, made public the decision on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
UMS of Loum has been dealt a heavy blow. The Homologation and Disciplinary Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation, made public the decision on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Reports say following the absence of UMS of Loum on May 27, 2023 during the round of 32 Cameroon Cup final match against "CFF Les Champions de Garoua", the homologation committee disqualified UMS of Loum from the competition, as well as from the next edition of the Cup of Cameroon in 2024. UMS was also ordered to pay a fine of FCFA 5,000,000 to FFECAFOOT.
The Chairman of UMS Loum, Pierre Kwemo, and his two wives Kwemo née Magni Safia M’Bohou and Kwemo née Noudja Marceline, members of the founding committee and executive bureau of UMS of Loum have also been banned from all football-related activities in Cameroon for five years. The parties had 72 hours to launch an appeal at the Appeals Committee in conformity to article 77 of the rules of the 2023 edition of the cup of Cameroon.
