H.E Nozomu Takaoka : Experienced Japanese Diplomat

He has served in so many countries before his designation to Cameroon.

Born on July 13, 1959, Nozomu Takaoka is the new Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon who studied at the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Tokyo, graduating in 1982, same year he was admitted into the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was the Consul General of Japan to Edinburg in the United Kingdom, before being designated Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon. Between 2015 and 2018, he occupied the position of Director-General of the International Centre for the Development of Small and Medium-size Enterprises and Regional Innovation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his country.
