Solidarity At Working Dinner

Cameroon’s Head of State, Paul Biya honoured President Emmanuel Macron’s invitation last evening at the French Presidential Palace to commune with the host and other world leaders over a common meal within the side-lines of the Paris Summit on New Global

After taking part in the opening ceremony of the two-day deliberations of the Paris Summit on New Global Financing Impact which seeks adaptable mechanisms in standing taller than crises threatening lives and livelihoods across the globe, Heads of State and Government as well as other world leaders met in a working dinner last evening at the French Presidential Palace. It was a rare moment for Cameroon’s President, Paul Biya, and participating peers to share a common meal with their host President Emmanuel Macron and also to calmly discuss other issues of global interest which could not be handled during the opening ceremony.
The heavily-attended working dinner therefore gave the world leaders taking part in the Paris confab the latitude to better understand each other, chat with one another and possibly share contacts and create networks that could improve their relations and the lives of their peoples in the days, months and years to come. A convivial moment for the leaders to relax and have a feel of each other and Paris as a whole. An occasion for the leaders to equally better appraise the depth of the crises affecting States and humanity in each nation and as well exchange on possible solutions. It was as well an ideal opportunity for financiers to meet State authorities and for the civil society actors to better make known their positions for equitable living across the world.
