West: Christian Women Crusade In Bafoussam

Bafoussam (Mifi) - Over 2,000 Christians of the Seventh Day Adventist church will for one-week, carryout prayer sessions, visit patients in hospitals, holdhealt education talks and train IDP women on income generating activities. The national president of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cameroon, Assembe Minyono Valére, says annual general assemblies, or congress, is sufficient moral courage by Christian women of the Seventh Day Adventist church as a way of redynamising their spiritual belief from material belief. He said thousands of women coming together to express gratitude and thanks to God for all blessing make the heart have the divine truth and love. Pastor Assembe Minyono Valére, was addressing some 2,000 women faithful of the Seventh Day Adventist church drawn from the ten regions of Cameroon and abroad, who gathered in Bafoussam on 4 July, 2023, for the third edition off their annual congress. He thanked the women for their philanthropic assistance to patients of the Bafoussam regional hospital, and the programme to train some 200 internally displaced women from the NW/SW regions living in the West region on small income generating activities, like manufacturing liquid soap, smoked fish, mushroom cultivation.
