2023 Interpools: Nine Representatives Known

The chart is almost full following six regional finals over the weekend. The last representative which is that of the East is expected to be known today.

The 2023 National Interpools kicks off this Saturday July 15, 2023 in Yaounde. Nine of the 10 regional representatives to take part in this competition are known. The East Region is expected to produce its representative that will complete the chart today July 11, 2023. Before last weekend, three regions already knew their representatives. They included Sporting FC (Far North), Ngaoundere FC (Adamawa) and Olympique of Biwong Bane (South). The list was pipped up to nine after six regional league finals played over the weekend. The South West region will be represented by ISOHSA FC. They are the winners of the South West Regional League for the 2023 season. The club secured the crown after beating Kumba City FC 1-0 in the final on Sunday. Bafmeng United will be the flagbearer of the North West Region. The team emerged champions of the North West regional league after they beat former Elite Two side Bang Bullet FC 2-1 in the final played at the University of Bamenda Stadium on Sunday. Pouma FC qualified for the Interpools after beating AS Nylon in the final of the Littoral Regional League while Nyom II Academy overpowered Afrika Sports in the Centre Regional League final to emerge champions.
