African Nations Volleyball Championship : Lionesses Making Final Touches In Maribor

Less than three weeks to the 2023 Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship to be be staged in Yaounde, Cameroon, the senior women’s national team are in Maribor, Slovenia to complete preparations ahead of the continental event. The girls, training under the overall stewardship of the Manager Peter Nonnenbroich, have the objective of grabbing all necessary skills that will permit them produce an honourable performance in the competition that will be hosted at home.
But before moving back to Slovenia, the team had tested their strength at an international volleyball tournament which ended July 22, 2023 in Pula, Croatia. The tournament brought together several big volleyball nations from across the world and permitted the Cameroonians to learn. The competition gave a chance to the technical staff to appreciate the individual and collective qualities of each of the players in game situation. It was also an elaborate platform for the Cameroonians to analyse their strengths and weaknesses as well as identify where to make amendments as they complete their preparation.
